Lisa B. Stefanou R.D.H., M.P.H.

Lisa s a clinical associate professor and the director of Dental Hygiene Programs at New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry. As a longtime member of Dimensions of Dental Hygiene's peer review panel, she now contributes to the Editorial Advisory Board, enhancing the journal's standards. Stefanou frequently writes on topics such as xerostomia, denture care, and tooth whitening. She teaches clinical and didactic courses in both associate and bachelor’s degree programs and codeveloped NYU's accelerated degree track for internationally trained dentists aiming to become licensed dental hygienists in the U.S.
