Dr. Rake, a member of the Dakota Valley Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, lectures on numerous topics locally and nationally. She has gained national attention for safe and responsible opioid prescribing and office-based anesthesia. She has been featured in the New Times and the Washington Post as well as on NBC Universal and local media outlets. Dr. Rake is a Diplomate with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She serves on the clinical governance board with U.S. Oral Surgery Management, an NIH-NIDAMED contracted panelist and an appointed member and president of the Minnesota Board of Dentistry.
