Doran is a registered, licensed dietitian and health coach. She is the lead nutritionist/dietitian at the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing in Minneapolis, MN, which is an integrative and functional medicine specialty within Allina Health, a large conventional medical care system. She specializes in integrative nutrition, a science-based “food as medicine” therapy for prevention and treatment of chronic diseases. Maureen has a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota in health and wellbeing coaching, which she blends with her expertise in nutrition to support true and lasting changes in those she serves. Maureen has a background in Kundalini yoga and is also trained in mindfulness-based meditation, providing mindfulness facilitation to individuals and groups.
