Dr. Jay B. Burton is a Tennessee native who grew up a couple of hours outside of Nashville in McKenzie. He completed his undergraduate education at Bethel University and earned an MBA from University of Tennessee at Martin, before achieving his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Louisville. While in dental school, Dr. Burton served as class president and conducted dental mission work in Belize and the Philippines. Dr. Burton subsequently completed his Orthodontic Residency at the prestigious New York University (NYU) in Manhattan, before achieving Certification from the American Board of Orthodontics.
