What's the Patient Service Coordinator program?
The ADA's Patient Service Coordinator program upskills and onboards administrative team members with the foundation knowledge and skills to thrive from the start in a practice setting. Through 17 interactive e-learning courses, participants learn clinical and administrative fundamentals and how to apply them in real-world scenarios. Upon successful completion of the program, participants can earn a certificate.- make patients feel welcome when they visit and communicate with professionalism and empathy.
- verify insurance coverage, process claims, collect payments and manage billing.
- learn dental terminology, coding and critical compliance requirements.
- utilize practice management software and electronic health record systems to keep patient records accurate.
