How Can Dentists Develop Emotional Resilience in a World Full of Stress?

Oral health care providers have been on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the last two years, providers have found innovative ways to prioritize patient safety and infection prevention, and weather financial setbacks. Focused on helping dentists in all career phases, this course gives learners 10 evidence-based resilience strategies to support their mental health and wellness. These techniques can support individuals, and can be used in all practice environments and educational settings, especially in times of uncertainty and prolonged stress. Presenter Sheela Raja, PhD, is an author, associate professor at University of Illinois Chicago, and director of the UIC College of Dentistry Resilience Center.
