Born in Yugoslavia, Dr. Vladana Babcic Tal received her BS degree from the University of Wisconsin- Madison, and later attended Boston University School of Medicine, pursuing a dual degree Masters in Medical Science and International Public Health. Upon completion of her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2010 from Tufts University, Dr.Vladana relocated to Chicago to pursue her passion in endodontics and completed her post-doctorate in advanced specialty training in endodontics at University of Illinois–Chicago College of Dentistry in 2012. While in residency, Dr. Vladana completed extensive research on the comparison of CBCT and digital radiography for the diagnosis of endodontic lesions, continues her affiliation with the UIC Department of Endodontics, and is currently the Director of Alumni Relations. Dr. Vladana is a member of numerous dental associations and co-director of the Windy City Seminars-Seattle Study Club, is the recipient of Incisal Edge Magazine’s 40 Under 40 Award, and in 2017, and received Chicago Magazine's Top Dentist Award. She is also married to husband, Eli and together they have two daughters, Maya and Mila.
