Trishul Allareddy D.D.S., M.S., Ph.D.
Professor Emeritus of Oral Pathology, Radiology and Medicine, University of Iowa
Trishul Allareddy is a professor and program director of the Advanced Education Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at the University of Iowa, where he also serves as department chair of Oral Pathology, Radiology and Medicine.
He represents the ADA on the DICOM Standards Committee, co-chairs Working Group 22 (Dentistry) and serves on the Leadership, Outreach and Education Committee. Dr. Allareddy has contributed to numerous ADA and DICOM standards and technical reports and is a co-author of the NCRP Report No. 177 on dental radiation protection.
Dr. Allareddy is an associate editor for OOOO (radiology section) and president-elect of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. His primary interests include advancing technology in dentistry and promoting radiation safety.
