Thomas T. Nguyen D.M.D.

Dr. Nguyen is the Director of Continuing Education and Associate Director of the Division of Periodontics at the McGill Faculty of Dental Medicine. Previously, he served as Director of Predoctoral Periodontology at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He earned his DMD from the University of Montreal, followed by an AEGD residency at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health. Dr. Nguyen also holds a Master of Science from McGill University, completed his specialty training in Periodontology at the University of Minnesota, and obtained an Executive MBA from McGill-HEC Montreal.

A board-certified specialist in periodontology and implant surgery, Dr. Nguyen is both a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is actively engaged in professional leadership as a member of the Board of Directors for the Order of Dentists of Quebec and a member of the RCDC’s Taskforce on AI and Emerging Technologies. Dr. Nguyen’s clinical and research interests focus on leveraging innovative technologies to enhance treatment outcomes and patient experience. His research explores implant dentistry, soft and hard tissue regeneration, and the integration of artificial intelligence in periodontology.
