Marie Schweinebraten D.M.D

Marie graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine and spent four years in the Army Dental Corps prior to a periodontal residency at Emory University. In addition to having a private Practice in Duluth, Goeorgia, she has been active in organized dentistry including serving on numerous committees at the state and national level including the ADA Council on Dental Benefit Programs. She is a past-president of the GDA and served as the Fifth District Trustee on the ADA Board of Trustees. Her present involvement includes serving as the American Academy of Periodontology’s Insurance Consultant, which includes representation on the Code Maintenance Committee, the SNODENT Maintenance Committee, the Standards Committee for Dental Informatics and the Dental Quality Alliance, where she was chair in 2017. She has also served on AAP task forces addressing classification of periodontal disease and comprehensive periodontal therapy. Marie also works with the American Association of Dental Consultants and is a Certified Dental Consultant.
