Maria Perno Goldie R.D.H., B.A., M.S., F.A.D.H.A.
Maria is an award‑winning dental hygiene leader and educator. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Hygiene, she has received multiple national and international honors, including the Pfizer/ADHA Award for Excellence in Dental Hygiene, the Alfred C. Fones Award, the IFDH Distinction in Service Award, an ADHA Presidential Citation, and the inaugural Ann Battrell Visionary Legacy Award.
She holds a BA in Health Services Administration from Saint Mary’s College and an MS in Health Science from San Francisco State University and completed the California Health Care Foundation’s Health Care Leadership Program. Maria has served as visiting faculty at the University of Rome and the University of Pisa, is a member of the American Academy of Dental Hygiene, an Honorary Member of Sigma Phi Alpha, and currently serves on The Oral Cancer Foundation Registered Dental Hygienist Advisory Board.
