Leslie Flowers is a national board-certified health and wellness coach and instructor of mindfulness-based stress reduction. Her vision is to help healthcare providers be healthy themselves. Leslie teaches and presents on mind-body tools for stress relief at Indiana University for Healthy IU, the employer wellness program, and to professional organizations and in her private practice. Leslie was the first director of student wellness at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she also was director of communications for 10 years. Before moving into the wellness space, Leslie owned a healthcare communications company for two decades. A graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, Leslie has written more than 150 articles published in national journals and newspapers. Leslie trained at Duke University's Center for Integrative Medicine and the Brown University Mindfulness Center. Known as the “Calm Coach,” she partners with individuals and groups to master relaxation and resiliency tools to live with peace, passion, and purpose. Leslie also is on the clinical team as a behavioral health coach at Bend Health, a national virtual mental health provider.
