Dr. Ballinger received her dental and specialty degrees from The University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist, a Certified Specialist in Orofacial Myology, and Owner of Good to Grow Airway Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Ballinger is passionate about the role airway focused dentists play in positively influencing a child's quality of life and overall health span, especially in children under 6.
Dr. Ballinger's "why" are her two teenagers, Jack and Libby, who as children inspired her to answer a professional call-to- action and bravely transform her pediatric dental practice model entirely.
As a mother who struggled to find answers for her own children's health challenges, Dr. Ballinger has become a passionate leader in educating others about what she "didn't know then, but does know now": that pediatric and child focused dental professionals, through the collaborative management of compromised oral function at birth, and treatment of deficient dental-skeletal growth patterns in the primary dentition, can ease the often needless suffering that impact so many children and their families. We hold so many answers in our own hands!
Dr. Ballinger lives and practices Western Massachusetts, in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains. Her husband Matt is general primary care dentist, and the whole family adores their springer-doodle Kipper, who is the bestest boy.
