Senior Director, Council on Advocacy for Access and Prevention, Center for Public and Population Health, American Dental Association

Dr. Grover is senior director of the Council on Advocacy for Access and Prevention in the ADA Center for Public and Population Health. Appointed to this role in April 2013, she oversees ADA initiatives related to community water fluoridation, school-based dental programs, community health centers, access to care, and funding for public health dental programs. She also frequently hosts webinars and presents continuing education activities for the ADA.

Dr. Grover earned her D.D.S. and M.P.H. degrees from the University of Michigan Department of Health Services Management and Policy. Early in her career, she was appointed by the Michigan governor to the Maternal and Child Health Workgroup and the State Board of Dentistry, and later served as adjunct faculty in the dental hygiene and dental assisting programs at Indiana University South Bend.

Before joining the ADA, Dr. Grover served as dental director of a federally qualified health center, faculty member at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, host of a weekly health care television program, and AEGD residency director for NYU Langone. She is also a graduate of the Senator Richard Lugar Excellence in Public Service Program and served as ADA vice president from 2006 to 2008.

Dr. Grover has also presented at numerous meetings, including the National Association of Community Health Centers, the National Network for Oral Health Access, and the HRSA All Grantee meeting.

In 2008, Dr. Grover was awarded the Clinician of the Year Award from the Michigan Primary Care Association and in 2016, was awarded the Distinguished Service Award from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry Alumni Association.
