Fiona Collins BDS, MBA, MA

Dr. Collins is the American Dental Association representative to the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) and Co-chair for AAMI/ADA WD-3 ST113 – Comprehensive guide to steam sterilization and sterility assurance in dental facilities, which will be the first joint AAMI/ADA standard. Fiona is also the Vice Chair for ADA Consensus Body 5 - Infection Prevention and Control. During her career, Dr. Fiona Collins has given presentations throughout North America, as well as in the UK, the Middle East and the Pacific Rim and has written multiple CE courses. Her topics include Standards, infection control, OSHA, oral disease prevention and management, and oral-systemic health. She has held positions in private practice, academia, scientific relations, marketing, training and management, and as a consultant. Dr. Collins is a member of the ADA and the Association for Dental Safety (ADS; formerly OSAP), and a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
