Danielle Rulli R.D.H., M.S., D.H.Sc.

Dr. Danielle Rulli, RDH, MS, DHSc, is Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Dental Hygiene Program, the Ohio State University College of Dentistry, and Director of Faculty & Professional Development, the Ohio State University Office of Interprofessional Practice and Education. Her research focuses on interprofessional education and collaboration, particularly the intersection of oral health and mental health, and provider/educator wellbeing, while her clinical research interests focus on non-surgical therapies. Dr. Rulli was an invited contributor to Oral Health in America: Advances and Challenges, the landmark follow up to the 2000 Surgeon General's Oral Health in America published by the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research. She was a subject matter expert for the National Council on Mental Wellbeing’s Oral Health, Mental Health, and Substance Use Treatment: A Framework for Increased Coordination and Integration. She has published extensively, and is currently serving on the American Academy of Periodontology’s Best Evidence Consensus Group on Peri-implant Health. She maintains active clinical practice as a registered dental hygienist.
